Hi Everyone,

Thank you firstly to The Secret Team and to Rhonda for this gift, and thank you all for clicking to read my story.

Three years ago, I was blaming others for my life. I had come out of depression into an angry stage where I started blaming other people for my life. I blamed them for not being able to finish my studies, for being in debt, for not supporting me when I needed it, and for not being there when I needed company.

One day, my mate’s mum mentioned that I should read The Secret. I did not understand it, and so dismissed it. My friend, whose mum mentioned the book, also suggested I read it as she and her boyfriend had done so, and it was working for them. I asked to borrow her book, but instead, she gifted it to me for my birthday.

I read the book. I did not understand it. I asked my mate’s boyfriend to explain it to me. So I read it again, understood it this time, and thought, I am going to apply it.

It was hard, and I’m not going to deny it. Now and then, I do find it hard to use the law of attraction. However, I always have a vision board up in my wardrobe, so I see it every day, and I have my magic cheques beside it.

On my first vision board, I had pictures of henna products I would like to sell. I put down “celebrity and international artist” as I do makeup and henna. I also put up a flag of Canada to see my cousin, who kept asking me to come over. I put up a graduation cap and a few other things, such as a car, a picture of an actor I would like my dream guy to look like, pictures of the engagement ring I want, etc.

Then, over time, I thought maybe I was asking too much and I should focus on a few things. So the board changed and has since changed a few times so that now I am on my fourth vision board!

So, you are probably wondering what has come out of it for me. Well, two years later, I started selling my henna products and teaching people to do henna, and I always wondered how I would manage that.

Three years later, I have signed up to get a degree. That goes back to the graduation cap I put up. I also went to Canada, and I got a new car!

I also ask the Universe for a space outside my house to park my car, and eight out of ten times, I usually get one. I also ask the Universe for bookings, and again, I do tend to get them.

I am not going to lie. I do find it hard to manifest at times, but I know it’s because of my subconscious mind block, and I feel like I lie to myself. The main thing I try to do is when I start worrying about something, I stop and say this is in God’s and the Universe’s hands, breathe out, and let it go.

I am waiting for my cheques and a few other things, but I know they are coming to me all in good time!

I have read the other books, and I love Hero. The Magic I have struggled with, as I tend to forget to do some of the exercises, but they are good reminders, and I am on here reading all of your stories every other day.

The Secret and the law of attraction do work, and it is amazing! Never give up, and if you do feel like it, at least keep your vision board in front of you, as it is the least you can do, plus it is your hope. Thank you.
