My fellow Chartered accountants must be aware of the rule that you must complete a certain number of CPE hours by attending seminars. However, due to a family crisis, I was not able to comply with this rule in 2023.

Now, I was worried that I might have to undergo some penal consequences. I was so worried and panicked that I started asking everyone around me if they could help me. I Googled what the consequences could be for this. There were some penal consequences, like doing double CPE hours and even losing my license. I was getting more worried, but then I remembered the law of attraction. I apologized for my mistake first, and then I affirmed and visualized that I had been excused for my mistake.

Then I called the department, and to my surprise, they literally excused me without any penalty. I asked several times if there would be any problems, but they said I should now just focus on my compliance for 2024.
