Thank you Rhonda for putting The Secret out to the world. I want to share how I manifested my part-time job in the lockdown as a student.

2020 was the year that put me on the path of discovery. I discovered what I loved, what my passion was, and what I wanted to dedicate my whole life to. For me it is Art. I was doing a footwear designing course but honestly, I hated it. So while I was trapped in my house during the lockdown, I started exploring and found lots of new things.

From being a beginner artist I started my own business. I wanted to sell my artwork. And after thinking that, I got a commissioned piece of work. However, I wanted to grow and make income on a monthly basis. Here is what I did:

1. I wrote down how much money I wanted to make monthly and asked the Universe to provide it to me at the end of 2020.

2. To make myself believe, I wrote that it was okay if it took some time as I am a beginner artist.

3. I hid the paper and moved on with my work. I worked day and night just for myself, I taught myself and later realized that somewhere I had already known how to do it. I took action without thinking about the outcome. I never thought about if it would work or not because I was so sure that this was my passion and even if I did not earn anything, I would still continue to do it.

One day my mom suggested to me that I get an internship related to my study field. And within an hour, my friend from junior college sent me a post through a website. They were paying rs 5,000 monthly and they wanted a journal artist. I was so shocked! I was in awe thinking that people in India even wanted a journal artist! This was so crazy.

I hurriedly applied and on the same day and I got selected out of 22 applicants! They selected me on the basis of my Instagram feed.

Journaling is not well known or done in India and people always questioned me about what I was doing. I demanded rs 5,000 as my wish but after getting hired, even as a part-time intern, I am now getting rs 15,000!

This is insane! I never thought this would happen! Now I create content, do social media marketing, and of course, journaling. All of this work is my favorite type of work and my passion.

Yesterday was the day I found my buried paper where I wrote what I wished to earn with my art. The Universe gave me much better than what I asked for and in a most unexpected way!

I would advise anyone who wants something that if you know you really want it, then keep at it. Even if you were to lose everything you keep on holding on to it, and that is where the magic happens! Keep your faith and it will happen.
