What You Need Eventually Comes To You.

IndiaI am a positive lady with a desire to enjoy life to the fullest and to use my abilities to serve humankind.
Years back, when I was at school, I was not sure what career path I wanted to take. Medicine was not a field that I wanted to take, but somehow, opportunities opened up for me and I got to study medicine. Eventually, I became a doctor. However, I wanted to do more than be a clinician and serve people. Hence, I joined public health.
The work that I am doing right now gives me much more satisfaction than treating patients. Public health is about reducing the disease burden of a community or society as a whole. This is on a much larger scale than treating patients in the wards or OPD.
To obtain something that required the competency to work in the environment where I wanted to perform, Public Health, I had to take up some things that I was not that fond of doing. All throughout my years in medical school, I kept a firm faith that I would be able to change directions in my career path to something that was more aligned with my liking and talents. And eventually, that was exactly what happened. Now I can connect the dots and I am so very thankful to the Universe.
So the message is to not despair or be angry if you feel like you are on a detour. That detour might just take you to your destination in a more meaningful way than what you might have ever imagined. What you need will eventually come to you.
