I believed, and my husband’s hospital discharge date was fulfilled.

My husband had a massive stroke on August 30th of last year. Our family was plunged into one of the darkest, most painful experiences we have known. He lost his ability to speak, walk, and use his right hand. After a week in treatment, he was put into inpatient intensive rehab. The average stay in the US in a rehab facility is three weeks. Especially if the patient is not progressing. I visited him every day for most of the day, and was sleep deprived, grief stricken and feeling hopeless.

When I finally came up for air, I went to see a friend for an hour. She had been doing The Secret. I have almost all of the books and always believed in the power of affirmations but I had forgotten about it and had not practiced anything in The Secret for years. She re-introduced me to it and wrote a letter to the Universe for me in which she thanked the Universe for the healing of my husband.

My husband was given an October 17th discharge date. We had to have the medical staff apply for approval every week to keep him as an inpatient. I would see in my mind October 17th written across the sky. I painted the date on a picture I made.

He made it all the way to Oct 14th. Again, it was unheard of as it was expensive, and insurance generally will not pay for it.

On the 14th, he was suddenly being discharged. It was a Saturday, and my family was out of town. I was in great despair and was not ready to take him home. I held my husband’s hands and put on some beautiful meditation music. When I was done, I decided that no matter what, we were not leaving. We will find a way.

On Monday morning, the doctors had a conference call with the insurance company, and they approved our original date, the 17th. And by the grace of the Universe, we made it to that date, which gave him 6 and 1/2 weeks of inpatient care. My husband still has much healing ahead of him but can walk with a cane and has some speech.

Miracle upon miracle was granted to us. I could write a book, as there is so much. I still have many times that I feel down and get really scared. My sister told me during the process to chant in my mind, “What if it all works out?”. Which is my go-to mood shifter to shift me out of fear. I listen to Rhonda almost every day and look at her as a beautiful guardian angel. I may have to manifest meeting her one day, LOL.

October 17th!! I believed, I saw it in my mind. And it manifested perfectly. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
