I have been on the same team for 8 years now. Everyone on my team who had joined at the same time as me had been promoted to AVP except me. Maybe it was because I was pregnant and was blessed with a lovely girl, so I was OK with a promotion not happening for quite some time. Now, after about 3 years, I have been really wanting a promotion and I actually deserve to have it. All the people that they had hired from outside are in no way more competent competency than me.

I decided that in March by my birthday, I wanted to see the promotion letter in my hands. I wanted to give this birthday gift to myself and wanted to congratulate myself for being an amazing 38 year old mom. I truly deserved the promotion I had been longing for, and now I could not wait any longer for it.

I also plan to be 67.5 kg by my birthday this year. These 2 things will be celebrated in my new home that I have been working on, and doing the interiors for. The very thought of the wonders that March is going to bring for me makes me jump with joy. I was waiting for the day before my birthday when I would give a farewell speech which would be very crisp but impactful to my current team. I am only going to thank that one person who made me believe in myself and trusted me with the opportunity. Kudos to this guy and I wish to be in contact with him throughout my life.

Yippie! I am doing my silly dance for my promotion to AVP and for my dream weight of 67.5 kg! I have a lot of shopping to do to celebrate myself. I am going to buy a smart watch for myself and a pair of denim jeans with a 28 inch waist size. Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you!
