Drum Battle.

I always wanted to learn to play drums. I went to a school that said that girls could not play drums. In 1999 my church had drums and anyone could play during church. So I started playing. Later I found more drums that I could have and play for free. Then I wanted to really learn and a friend said he would teach me but I had given all the drums away.
So I drove to Seattle from Portland thinking I might have some drums at my parents’ house. While driving I felt very strongly that I would get drums. So I wrote drums and cymbals down on paper and kept on driving. There were no drums at my parents’ house.
Then a friend invited me to dinner. I still felt like I was going to get drums. At dinner, my friend gave me a card as I left. It had a check in it for $1,700 which he had owed me from four years ago. So, I bought drums.
I practiced and taught myself how to play drums at 30 years old. Then God told me to bring my drums to church. The church had a very good professional drummer. I listened to God and I put my drums in my car. I got there early and the drummer did not show up. I was scared but I told the worship singer I had my drums and they were happy and told me to play. The next week God told me not to bring my drums. In the third week, God told me to bring the drums. The other drummer was gone again. The next week the drummer told me to bring my drums and we played at church side by side.
A few months later, God showed me that I was going on tour.
Three days later my worship singer at church told me we were going to London to play a festival for 20,000 people. Recently I was practicing my drums and God told me to tell my drummer friend that I was drumming. I was shy but I obeyed knowing that God was up to something. I told my friend then the friend asked to see a video of me drumming. Again I was shy but really felt like God was doing something big. I sent him a drumming video and he answered back that he would like to be my drum instructor. Wow! This person has been a famous drummer for 30 years. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
I know God has more for me in this life and I am excited for all that is coming. Write it down, have faith, and take action. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
