When I was 17 years old, I was quite intellectual, and some of my then classmates were not happy about that. I was nearly murdered for being smart. I was pushed down a flight of stairs and left to die in the stairwell. After a half a minute of blacking out, I woke up but not until I was threatened with my life. That same day someone told the entire student body that I was a whore which was an outright lie. Today I am 35 1/2 years old and a self published author of fantasy/romance novels. Funny thing is I never even had a boyfriend, let alone been married. Thank you, Universe.
