I was given an opportunity to help someone the other day… A lady was hi-centered on a barrier at the local mall. She was trying to back up and smoke was everywhere. She was pretty distressed. Luckily I belong to AAA and have never had a chance to use it, so I called them and sat and waited with her. During our wait, I learned that she’d been through a lot in the last year… a son committed suicide, a granddaughter was killed, and she was currently homeless. I feel so lucky to have been able to help her, even just a little. I still pray for her…
