I usually have some dollar bills on me in case I need to use cash at a cash only store. I store my cash in two places. One is my change pouch where I keep old, wrinkled dollar bills that I actually use. The second place is my wallet, where I keep brand new, crisp dollar bills that I don’t plan on using. The brand new dollar bills are my “backup money.” Keeping crisp dollar bills in my main wallet boosts my feeling of abundance.

Two weeks ago, I was at a store that only accepted cash. When I made the purchase, I realized I forgot to replenish my change pouch, so I had to use the crisp dollar bills that I kept in my main wallet. I was a little upset at myself for forgetting to replenish my change pouch and having to use my crisp dollar bills. I know I can always go to the ATM and get more cash, but ATMs don’t always give you brand new bills. Nevertheless, I made a mental note that the next time I drive by an ATM or a bank will get some dollar bills to replenish my change pouch and hopefully ask the teller for some new and crisp dollar bills so that I can replace the ones that I used. I was planning on visiting the bank in about a month.

Today, I was checking my mailbox and sorting through junk mail. Usually, I will toss marketing letters right away. For some reason, I decided to keep this envelope that looked like a marketing letter. I got inside the house and started opening my mail. When I opened the marketing envelope, voilà, there is a crisp, brand new dollar bill!! I was so glad to receive this free and brand new, crisp dollar bill. Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you!

This makes me feel like I am manifesting the “visualizing checks in the mail” in Rhonda’s books and The Secret movie. I think this is the Universe’s way of wishing me a happy and abundant Thanksgiving. I got a brand new dollar three days before Thanksgiving, and the money arrived two weeks before I planned to receive it. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
