I’ve been wanting to see the musical “Wicked” since I first heard it was coming out. I am a HUGE fan of musicals, and I was so excited. Unfortunately, I didn’t buy tickets in time before it was sold out. I remember sitting by myself, thinking, I want someone to take me for my birthday. Then I forgot about it for months.

My birthday rolled around, and my best friend came to visit me from out of town. She told me that she’d gotten to see Wicked the week before, and I was so jealous! I told her I wanted to see it so bad. She said, “well let’s go then.” I told her that the tickets were sold out and she said, “no big deal.” SO I thought about it and said, “okay, we’re going to get to see Wicked.”

The next day, we went to the Performing Arts Center where it was playing that day, and walked up the the ticket window. Nobody was there. We asked the lady there, “we know the tickets are sold out today, but is there any chance you have any extra tickets?” she said, “let me check.”

Well GUESS WHAT!? She pulls out a piece of paper showing all of the seats and where they are in the theater. Then she points to the THIRD ROW SEATS, front and CENTER!!! She says, “we have these two seats.” We were so excited, we bought the tickets on the spot, and the performance was AMAZING! We were right up front, in the best seats in the house!

But that’s not the best part – ten minutes later there was a crowd of people around the ticket window trying to get tickets. I called and told my mom about it, and her boyfriend freaked out. He asked, “how did you get those tickets!?” He went over and tried to get his own tickets, and asked them about how we got our tickets. Apparently, the woman there said that we should never have gotten those tickets.

But hey, when you REALLY CHOOSE to create something – it happens!!!
