First, I want to say thank you, thank you, thank you to God. I also want to say thank you so very much to Rhonda Byrne and her team at The Secret for introducing this wonderful gift of the law of attraction to the world! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I received The Secret by accident. I love reading and writing. The job that I had at the time was good, and I had a very nice supervisor named Mary. I told her I wanted to become a writer, so she let me borrow her book, The Secret. I’m ashamed to say that for weeks it sat in my closet.

One day, I had a male friend come over, and while he was over, I opened my closet to vacuum. He asked me jokingly what I knew about The Secret. I told him I had not read it yet! That night, I read it and was blown away. I realized that I had attracted good and bad things into my life and had not even known it.

Fast forward to now. Yesterday, I did not have time to post my story. Two miracles happened yesterday, and I know why. Because I never stopped believing and because I had faith.

I have a house and was worried about how I was going to find a job so I could pay my rent and my ridiculously high DTE energy bill! I was dead broke, but I smiled and imagined that I already would have money to get to work. As mentioned before, I was broke, so I looked at what I had in my house to sell. I have a huge music collection, so I sold my CDs, not all of them, but just enough to get on the bus. I spoke to myself on the bus about what I wanted and that I was grateful that I was receiving more checks in the mail than bills. So here was what happened after that:

1.) I started my new job on Sunday, but I started to feel negative, thinking about how I was going to get there. Then, I blocked out those thoughts and started smiling and singing to myself.

2.) As I got off the bus and walked down my street, I saw that I had some mail being delivered. Then, I was super excited when I saw that I had gotten a check in the mail! It was an ‘unearned’ and unexpected check!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I feel on top of the world. I am so grateful! And believe me, if it happened to me, trust that it will happen to you! This is only the beginning. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I will post more when I move up and get my old job back as a Medical Assistant at a Medical Weight loss clinic. I will soon have my dream car, a fire-engine red Dodge Charger, and win the Mega Millions!!
