Recently my sister has been going through a really hard time. We talked on the phone a couple of weeks ago and she was crying. She said, “I just need a break from my life right now.” I could see how she’s been fighting the same problems for years and I felt this longing inside to be able to do something for her. I thought to myself, “If I win the lottery, I’ll buy her a ticket to come see me in London.” She lives in America so the flights are pretty expensive. I thought about the number £1,000. After a while, I sort of gave up on thinking that it was going to work and went back to regular life.

Then I felt it again, that I really wanted to help her. I came home to a brown envelope from the government. I was worried about opening it but then it was a tax refund for over £1,200!!! I immediately told my sister to buy a ticket and now she’s coming to see me in less than 2 weeks! Plus I had some extra money to put in my savings which is a big relief because I’m coming out of being totally broke. I just knew the money was for her to get a break from all her troubles and have some renewing time and lots of fun and laughs with her sister/best friend. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you for the perfect timing and the perfect amount! I still can’t believe it all worked out!
