I have practiced The Secret teaching off and on. This happened just before the COVID-19 pandemic. I picked the next book, The Magic, and started to practice some of the principles. One of them is writing a check to yourself for a certain amount of cash. So I printed out dozens of The Magic Checks and wrote them out for double my salary. I never wavered.

During that time, my administration changed at my job, and my boss made my life miserable. I had such anxiety, but I made the decision to leave the job that I had been at for 26 years. I now had no income, and a family to support. I was picking up some per diem work, but I kept believing and writing The Magic Checks.

Then, the COVID pandemic hit, and out of the blue, a recruiter called me, offering me a job with an amazing salary. At the end of that year, I had made the sum that I put down on The Magic Checks! And I still make around that sum. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
