After watching The Secret a few times, I really wanted to understand it even more.

I’ve been a massage therapist for about seven years and I really enjoy my work. For about several months off and on, I was experiencing thoughts of massaging a client who was psychic or gifted in some mind reading way. I would have thoughts of what things this person would tell me. I’ve honestly been skeptical about people who claim they are psychics and do it for profit. I do believe that there are honest psychics out there that really cherish their gifts. It’s all in the mind and heart.

One day I received a call from one of my clients who wanted to pay in advance for a massage as a gift for her step daughter. Also she asked if I could come to her house to give the massage. I didn’t hesitate what so ever to help her make that arrangement.

The day of the appointment, I showed up to my client’s house with my table and supplies, and set up the room to a relaxing retreat. Her daughter was happy and excited to get her massage. The session was very quiet just as it should, which meant she was feeling relaxed. Well that was what I thought until I had turn over on her back.

As I was massaging her feet, I noticed that her eyes were wide open and she looked like she had a lot on her mind. Suddenly, she spoke up and asked me an off track question. She asked me if my dad used to wear hats. I responded to her question and told her “Yes, he used to wear cowboy hats”. Then she sat up from the table and then she told me that she was a psychic.

The moment she said that, I began to freak out a bit because I thought back to The Secret. I smiled in disbelief for a moment because in my head I just could not believe that this was really happening!

She told me things about that I knew there was no way she could’ve known, nor her parents. The more she described about my dad, the more I started crying because everything she said was accurate. My father had passed away when I was a toddler, so I had very little memory of him but I have pictures.

What really hit me hard inside was when she told me that my dad said to tell me that yes, he is around, and that he is very proud of the kind of parent I’ve become.

Afterwards, we started talking some more and I explained to her about how this experience really made me a firm believer of the law of attraction.

This is an experience that I will always cherish for the rest of my life. Whenever I begin to feel any slight doubt about the law of attraction, I think about that experience as a reminder that “The Secret really exists and works.
