Hello Everyone!

Let me begin by thanking Rhonda and her entire team of The Secret for bringing smiles to many happy souls here. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

The story that I am writing today is very interesting and important too. I felt the need of sharing this with you all immediately.

It so happened that I have been jobless for a while for various reasons and the dependency on my husband for financial needs and sitting at home all day made me very depressed. You can all imagine how frustrated a person becomes who has been earning a very good amount every month and has suddenly stopped earning. I was feeling low and somehow this was affecting my relationship with my husband too. I slowly started going into day dream mode and neglected housekeeping and cooking. As a result, when my husband returned from the office he saw clothes unwashed, dishes not done, food tasteless and the bedroom in a mess every day. This was going a bit too far. And I realized I have stopped being thankful for the things around me. So I logged on to this site and read several stories.

I decided to make a friend. An invisible one. And called him Genie! You know, the Genie that Aladdin had who could do magical things?

Yeah, so I made friends with this invisible Genie and told him my wishes for the day. I wanted my husband to appreciate my cooking and cleanliness of the house. I wanted my relationship to improve with him.

And Bingo! He came home in very high spirits and entered the kitchen, was wonder struck with how neat I kept it. He kissed me and thanked me for the yummy lunch that I packed for him and we spent quality time with each other that evening. I kept thanking Genie whenever I could silently and aloud!

I have been asking Genie to help me around the house and I have noticed that it is actually me who is doing the work, but I just don’t feel that I have done it! The work gets done, no time wasted and I don’t feel tired either! Isn’t that wonderful?!

Genie is helping me with getting quality sleep, wonderful recipes and many more things. I thank Genie for being there and giving me what I want! I am sure Genie will set my finances back with the kind of job I want along with good money. Keep waiting for my other success stories.
