I was going to start my great grandmother adventure of going to my son’s home while his wife, who is a nurse began to do overnights (one time a week) again at a Boston hospital. I had signed up to begin overnight duty when my granddaughter – Annalie was four months old. I asked my son if they had a rocking chair and he said no. I knew I needed one. I started to look on-line and the rocking chairs were expensive, they took weeks to be delivered and you had to put them together. I was scheduled to begin the next day. I knew I wanted our first night together to go well. I just paused, and connected with Creator and saw, “I now have a blonde wooden rocking chair with beige (neutral fabric), under a $100 and it is all put together and this entire venture will be done in an hour.” I just got in my car and it went north. I went into a store and there was one floor model of a slider, exactly as I specified. They usually don’t sell floor models, but the sales lady seemed pleased to sell it to me anyway. I was back home in exactly 59 minutes! And our first night was blessed, as is all our precious Monday nights. Annalie is now nine months old and what a joy that rocking chair continues to be!
