Where Gratitude Goes, Abundance Flows.

London, UKA young lady who has seen and truly believes in the power of gratitude and the LOA.
First of all, I want to say a huge thank you to anyone who reads this story, and I truly hope it helps inspire people to try The Secret. Ask, believe, receive!
I had been practicing gratitude for a few years now, and recently became re-acquainted with The Secret through the movie, “The Secret: Dare To Dream“, and also from reading “The Magic” again. In the past, I had manifested many things using the LOA.
I only earn a minimum wage but try my hardest to stay grateful for what I have. I asked and said thank you for money coming to me, in both expected and unexpected ways. I then demonstrated that I believed it by acting as though it was true. Instead of telling myself that I cannot afford that big tub of ice cream because money is so tight and I need it for essential food, I will buy it and feel grateful that I have always had enough.
Afterwards, I received money not only from working overtime but also as gifts from family and friends. I was even contacted by the energy company saying they were giving me a refund for my utility bill after they had reviewed my account! I find the more I trust, believe and give thanks, the more money seems to flow to me and the less financial difficulty I have.
One of the most significant things that really showed me the power of my thoughts, was with our house. We lived in a tiny studio flat, sleeping on a stiff and uncomfortable fold-out sofa bed in the middle of our small living room. There was barely enough room for us to move and noisy neighbors kept us up all hours of the night. I was constantly tired with the combination of going to work during the week and lack of sleep. We needed to move, and my partner and I decided on the type of home we wanted. I wanted somewhere with a parking space or driveway, to avoid all of the parking problems I was having at the time. We both wanted a ground floor flat, a garden, and a cat. We also wanted to be located so that I could travel to and from work easily, but also close to the countryside and nature.
It seemed impossible as all properties like that in our area were far above what we could afford, and hardly any of them accepted pets. Once we decided what we wanted, I focused on, and expressed gratitude each day, for all of the great things about our small studio flat. Even down to the fact that we simply had a roof over our heads. That was a blessing in itself.
Then we saw an advertisement for an apartment to rent. To our astonishment it had a private driveway, a lovely private garden with beautiful views of the fields beyond, was on the ground floor, was the largest of the flats in that area, and the landlord was happy for us to keep pets. And, it was actually under our price range so we could afford it!
We were astounded! Then the icing on the cake was just after we moved. A stray cat was brought into the vets where I work. He needed a home and seemed attached to me as he would purr and climb over me. Somehow I knew he was choosing us, and so we rehomed him. And low and behold, we now also have a cat! Everything on our “list” that we had asked for, we had received.
It might not seem odd for a cat to be brought into a vet’s office but bear in mind that this was a stray cat. Most animals coming to the vets are owned, and he arrived just at the time we moved. I like to think it was more than just a coincidence.
A while after all of this happened, our circumstances changed and we needed to move again. Once again, the place that we found and that is now home to us, had all of the things on our “list”. Also, in the time since we had last moved, I secretly decided that I wanted a front garden as well as a back garden. Guess what? The place we now call home has a private front garden. We plan on using this space to keep lovely plants and flowers in the summer. Our current home is also just a stone’s throw away from a beautiful woodland where I regularly go for walks.
If anyone still has doubts or is wondering, the LOA really does work. Showing gratitude really does work. Where gratitude goes, abundance flows. Belief is the key, just try it and you will see! Thank you, thank you, thank you!
