I have been working with young children for the last 16 years in the classroom. I have witnessed their pure soul. Their pure words. Their pure actions. Recently I have made a connection. A connection to all the knowledge I already had, the things I had learned over many years. Things that I knew but never actually applied to my day-to-day life.

I had studied. I had practiced. But it was only on the surface level. I never took it deeper. I never took it to where it needed to be. I never loved myself.

Once I fully accepted that it began to unravel the mess that I had created. I started seeing things differently. I started feeling things differently. I was beginning to have an experience. An experience that I had never had in my life before.

I started reconnecting with my inner child. My inner voice. The voice that was so buried below. Below the darkness, below the hate, below the sadness, below the impossible.

And as the discovery began to unfold I started finding secrets. I started understanding that it had always been sitting right in front of me. But now my mind was finally accepting the meaning of everything. Understanding the purpose. Understanding The Secret.

I truly believe that The Secret is within. The Secret lies in the child. The pure soul that comes into the world. The pure soul that still resides within ourselves. We are pure. We are love. We are hope. Many times as we grow older we ask the question, what is the secret to life? Well, I must say The Secret lies within you. The Secret is you. And when you discover that secret it will change your life. Listen to the children in your life. Listen to the children around you. And listen to the child inside of you. This child holds the key. The key to happiness. The key to answers, and ultimately the key to your soul.
