Hello Everyone,

I want to thank Rhonda Mam for letting us know about The Magic and The Secret. They can turn each one of us into powerful heroes! I also want to thank everyone who shares their wonderful experiences here. Last but not least, I want to say thank you to the Universe for manifesting my desires.

I always wanted to work in an IT organization as a software engineer. To achieve that I completed my post-graduate degree in Computer Applications. Then I started searching for an opening in the software industry. It was in 2018 and at that time I was totally unaware of the law of attraction and the power of our mind. I was searching for an opening but I was very negative in my mindset. I used to think about what could happen if my coworkers were not cooperative with me or if I become unhappy in my job how bad my life would become. I saw people around me who complained about their jobs and I feared that those things would happen to me.

Then in November of 2018, I got a six month internship opportunity in a very reputed IT organization in our city. I was very happy with it as they said that the internship might get converted into a full time job.

But after my internship started, the thoughts I held in my mind started manifesting. I found out that although the organization was great in all aspects, the people on my team were very uncooperative with me. They ignored me, insulted me at every chance, never noticed my improvements, and exaggerated my mistakes to the team leaders and managers. I was very unhappy and feared that my internship would not get converted to a full time job. And that was exactly what happened! My internship came to an end and my application for a full time position got rejected in the most disrespectful manner!

I was devastated at the time but I kept on applying for jobs. I attending interviews with a depressed and sad mind. I felt needy and helpless while going to interviews but prayed for a miracle to appear. I gave many interviews but I didn’t get any offers.

Then the Covid-19 pandemic struck and the hiring processes came to a halt. To cheer myself up, I searched for a self-help book and I found The Secret! After reading the book three times I understood the blunders I made in my life through my negative thinking. Next, I read all the other books in The Secret series, one by one.

First I accepted the fact that I was responsible for my current situation in life and only I could change it. Then I started The Magic practices for 28 days and did journaling daily to clear my mind. Every night before going to sleep I used to talk to myself. I told myself how worthy and capable I was by giving examples of my past achievements, both small and big. For the first 28 days, I only did this. I did not practice any affirmations or do any visualization techniques. Then after the first month when I was in a better mindset, I started my law of attraction techniques. I listed the qualities that I wanted my dream job to have and thought very deeply about the exact feelings that were associated with my working in my dream job. I found those feelings to be worthiness and fulfillment. I created an affirmation for them, “I am feeling extremely worthy and fulfilled working in my dream job.” I would say that and I would really feel it.  I surrendered to the Universe, knowing that it would give me an opening in the organization that was best for me. I crafted a vision of my working there happily. I practiced affirmations every morning and visualization every night, along with the gratitude practice throughout the lockdown period in our city.

When the lockdown restrictions started to slowly ease, I started applying for jobs. This time I was surprised to find I was getting so many interview calls and from quite well-known organizations! My interviews were also going quite well. But I also noticed that though the interviewers were impressed, I still was not getting any offers.

I again thought very deeply about the thoughts I had in my mind regarding jobs. I found I still had an attachment with the former organization where I was rejected. Deep in my mind somewhere I wanted to work there but at the same time, I feared I might be unhappy there again. I immediately dissolved that attachment by talking to myself. I told myself that the Universe knows what is best for me! If that organization is best for me then I will surely get an opening there. Otherwise, I will get into a better place!

I had made another tweak to my subconscious. When I next prepared for interviews or faced interviews, I did them with the intention of feeling worthy and fulfilled rather than any anxiety about if I would get selected or not. I also practiced gratitude, did my affirmations, visualizations and made sure that I was feeling good the majority of each day. This was when the real magic happened!

I saw on LinkedIn a job posting from a well known MNC that was hiring a candidate with 13 years of experience. The email id of the concerned person was provided there. I had only a six month internship experience so I knew that I was not eligible for that post. However, I applied anyway to inquire if there was an opening that matched my experience and skill set. To my surprise, they scheduled an interview for me for a position they had not even advertised yet! I prepared confidently for the interview to the best of my abilities and sat for it with full gratitude.

I cleared three rounds of interviews with ease and finally got the job offer! This organization is better than my former organization and the salary is also much more than I could have ever gotten there! I am joining the organization in a week and now I am sure I will get amazing teammates who will appreciate my work and cooperate with me. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
