Jungle Girl: Dreams Come True!
Submitted by: Kat
Johannesburg, South Africa28 year old girl who is into Alchemy and Hermeticism.
My high school principal taught us about “The Secret” but never told us that she learned about it from the book. My teacher said it was evil and that he hated it.
After I left high school I decided to start applying The Secret. Within 3 months I got the best job in the Media and Entertainment industry and in the best company without even having a degree. Later I got another job at a promotions company. My job allowed me to travel overseas every year. I also won trips overseas and tickets to see Jay Z and Beyonce in Paris 2014. To MTV VMA 2016. A lovely trip to Italy, to the Global Citizen Mandela 100 concert, the Ultra Music Festival 2020, and so many more concerts. In total, I’ve seen Beyonce 3 times for free and Jay Z twice. I also got to see celebrities I never thought I would see like Britney Spears, P Diddy, Kim Kardashian, Naomi Campbell, and so many more people. The singers especially are getting older and are less likely to perform so I am lucky I got to see them before Covid happened.
I have also won 88 local sweepstakes and competitions so far. My university education was paid for with a stipend. I have 4 continents with 10 countries under my belt.
There are still so many things that I want that I have resistance to, like having a boyfriend and husband. I have never had a boyfriend yet. I would also like to get my dream job in travel. I also want to have financial independence and to move out of my parents’ house. I go back and re-read The Secret whenever I get sad or need a reminder. I know that one day I will come back and tell you guys that I got these three wishes on my list, too.
There are days you will be frustrated but you will bounce back up. Maybe the Universe is preparing you for your wish to be the greatest gift ever.
Guys, I wish I could go into more details about my wishes and dreams and how they came true by 2018 especially after I finally read The Secret.
Update on my principal, a family member hit a windfall and now her kids are well taken care of. My teacher who thought The Secret was evil, sadly has been having hard times ever since I left high school. I can’t force him to love The Secret but I can only hope that one day he will change his mind and read it and use it.
As a girl from a 3rd world country, from Soweto, a lot of things had seemed impossible. Especially when you are surrounded by poverty and have no generational wealth. But my story will be the best because some 1st world countries assume that Africa is all a jungle. So I can prove to people that a girl from the jungles of Africa, swung her way into can making dreams come true. Laughs!
Thank you, thank you, thank you!
