EnglandI’m a mother of 5 daughters, wife, grandmother, a lifelong learning educator, and a woman empowerment coach.
It is never too late!
From a very young age, I felt I was different from all the other people around me. My siblings were loud and noisy. I would sit there and observe. I could not understand why my parents could not think like me. Overall, people just annoyed me. I thought they were unfair, unjust, and not so kind.
Reflecting on my life, I realize that being a rebel has served me in many ways. There were times when society’s ideals dictated what a mother of five daughters should be doing at age 40, but I had a little voice in my head telling me that it was complete nonsense. I am grateful for that voice because it has allowed me to live my life on my own terms.
Despite the pressure to conform, I have always stayed true to myself. I have dedicated my life to serving my family and will continue to do so.
Breaking free from the shackles of outdated values, abuse, and fear that held me down for so long in my life made me sure that I didn’t want to waste another moment. I started my research on Google, searching for ‘How to make my life better,’ and that was when I discovered the world of personal development, and I came across The Secret App.
So, being a rebel, I armored myself with courage and confidence to strengthen my belief that it was important to pursue my own interests and purpose. And, if I have the opportunity and desire to pursue higher education, I will not let anyone else’s expectations hold me back. Life is too short to live according to someone else’s rules!
I am grateful for the lessons that being a rebel has taught me, and I will continue to live my life with integrity, courage, and authenticity. I am extremely thrilled that I made that decision!
Life is a journey that is filled with ups and downs. However, it is important to remember that there is always time to pursue your dreams. Whether starting a new career, learning a new skill, or pursuing higher education, it is never too late to take that next step. In fact, pursuing your purpose can bring a sense of fulfillment and joy to your life that you may not have experienced before. As the saying goes, “Life is for loving, living, and learning.”
I am proud to share that I achieved a major milestone in my life. In 2019, at 47, I graduated with a master’s degree. It was not an easy journey, but it was worth all the hard work and dedication. It taught me that anything is possible with perseverance, dedication, and a positive attitude. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
I hope my story can inspire others to follow their dreams and never give up on their goals, no matter how big or small they may be. Now, I am a mother of 5 daughters, a wife, a grandmother, a lifelong learning educator, and a woman empowerment coach.
This all became possible because of my journey of personal growth in 2013 with the intention that I wanted to live my life on my terms to suit me. I have been keeping a gratitude journal ever since then which keeps me focused on all the blessings I have gotten, even when I was feeling overwhelmed or stressed. Since then, I have focused every day on becoming a better version of myself, which has helped me push past my limitations to achieve and become who I am today.
I love empowering women and seeing their journeys take shape; it gives me immense pleasure to know I can support other women who need love, empathy, belief, and vision to achieve their goals.
Stay true to yourself, and stay blessed.
