Law of Attraction Brought Me The Perfect Job!!
Submitted by: KC in Canada
Edmonton, ABI work for a local government department now as a manager for IT projects. My background includes 20 years of professional experience with work across sectors, industries and fields.
I have been with a local, government agency for a number of years. I value continuous learning and improvement and have found affirmations, visualization, and daily inspiration very valuable for a positive mindset while anticipating a new job opportunity. I had accepted short term opportunities to advance professionally in my fields of expertise. The previous role had great conditions, and wonderful clients but not a great supervisor. Luckily, I secured another longer term temporary job near the end of that term position.
Unfortunately, it turned out to be a very toxic work environment. There was a high turnover, 4 reorganizations in 5 months, I had a succession of 3 supervisors, and was micromanaged plus belittled in meetings by two senior managers. Every day I worked to find a new opportunity and struggled to stay positive despite only getting a few interviews and no offers. I was ghosted three times after interviews.
One job application was with a terrific former client, largely the same as my last role only better! My colleague texted me saying that it sounded like our former co-worker accepted the position. I was crushed. Still, every day I did visualizations, affirmations, and read Rhonda’s inspirational quotes and stories on The Secret Super App.
Then suddenly, I got a call from HR. They offered me the job as a transfer! I was elated that I had been able to attract precisely the job I most wanted with a terrific manager and co-workers, in a preferred building, and with free parking nearby. I also envisioned using a week of vacation leave to go to Mexico to relax before starting my new job and the dates worked out perfectly, so I booked my trip!
This year will be a terrific year! Thank you to the law of attraction for bringing me what I want while I was taking consistent action towards.
