My daughter sent me The Secret DVD and meditation CD for Mother’s Day. It is the most wonderful, useful gift I have ever received!

Like many, I blamed everything that happened in my life on my parents, my upbringing. I always joked that I was “cursed.” We were always facing some new peril, either financially or health wise, and like a merry-go-round, around and around we went, with nothing ever changing.

After watching The Secret, I realized that I was doing the cursing. I made a vow after watching it the first time that I was going to use what I’d learned to better my life.

My husband and youngest son, the last people I would have expected to be interested, sat down and watched the whole thing with me! Next thing I know, the word “grateful” was popping up all over our house. The words “if” have been replaced with “when”.

It was miraculous how the energy in the house changed and how much closer we became after realizing all the things we have to be grateful for.

I am amazed and grateful every day in the changes I watch come about. Once I realized what I really wanted, I was able to make the break from a very unbalanced business partnership.

I wake up every day with a feeling of joy in my heart… I don’t fall into negative thought patterns about everything from the slow person in line in front of me to my financial situation. In fact, once I really took a look at my life and realized what I wanted from it, I discovered many things I was talented at but let fall by the wayside… and they are all things that I can turn into a financial bonus, without getting bored!
The Secret helped me reconnect with my spiritual center, and after taking high blood pressure medication for 5 years, my blood pressure has dropped to normal range, and my doctor took me off every one! I feel whole and healthy and ALIVE. That’s the only word I can use to describe the energy and enthusiasm I feel every day.

Every day when I write my list of things I’m grateful for, it always starts with “I’m grateful I got The Secret.”
