I have known about The Secret since I watched the film in 2007, but have always had phases where I forgot to focus on the positive and allowed negative thoughts to pull me down. My relationship with money has always been quite good despite that but early in 2022, I had to drop down to part-time at work due to mental health stress. Naturally, I began to earn less and doubted I would ever feel stable enough to work and earn full-time again.

At the end of 2022, in a dark period, a nudge from the Universe encouraged me to open The Power. I read it in one sitting and realized how my lack of love and gratitude for what I had, had been influencing my life in negative ways. I got the audiobook of The Secret and began listening to it every night as I fell asleep. I also started a gratitude journal and took on Rhonda’s practice of writing down the amounts of my bills as though they were cheques, then adding a zero to the end and giving thanks as though I had received the money.

Long story short, within 3 weeks of doing this, I was clearing out my storage cupboard and found 5000€ I had stored there years ago after receiving a cash bonus. A week after that, I found another 5000€, and then got paid a surprise Christmas bonus that was more than my monthly salary. The amount in my gratitude journal that I wanted to reach was 15,000€, and I have no doubt the Universe will provide for me. Since deciding to write this story, I have already received another 500€ in gifts, have healed my mental health, and started working full time again.
