I found this site helpful when I first began using the Secret and thought I would share my story too.

I have had 2 things manifest for me only one week after practising the Secret avidly. One was a pay rise which previously I kinda knew there was no chance in getting. I had a figure in my head, kept thinking about it positively, writing it down etc. A week later, my boss took me out to lunch and told me I was getting a rise and my new salary was the exact amount I visualised.

My husband used to write freelance and has had a notion to write children’s books (something he has a talent for). We did not have a computer and could not afford one. I put it out to the universe that it would be nice if somehow we could come by a secondhand one, just to get started. On the same day I got my rise, my husband called me to say that a colleague brought him in a ‘present’ which was his old lap-top. He then told him that is wasn’t great, but he could use it to ‘write a book or something’. He had no way of knowing what our plans were. We had been talking of getting a computer for home for the past couple of years, but there was always something more pressing to spend our money on.

Wow, we went home that Friday night and celebrated. Needless to say it has changed a lot about us. I have to stress that even if nothing else, it’s lovely to feel much more positive and be aware and in control of our emotions. I can’t praise the film or the book enough.
