Think – Draw – Have

Early on, I imagined that if I could draw a horse, it would materialize. I absolutely ached to have a horse of my own. Some people are just born this way, I suppose, because I have met others with a similar passion.
Anyway, I practiced drawing horses, traced horses, dreamed horses, and imagined horses for as long as I can remember, before I recall even meeting one in person. In-between my family tried to discourage me
. But I just KNEW if I could THINK it, DRAW it, I could HAVE it.
I imagined feeding my own horse, driving down the road to the stable to see my own horse, and all the places I would go on my horse
..
My experience went from an hour’s trail ride rental, to lessons, to more rentals, to horseback riding camp, to a month’s lease, to taking care of someone else’s horse, to finally my buying my own horse and telling my parent’s 3 months later. I’ve had at least one horse ever since.
Now when I look out my kitchen window, I see my horses hanging around outside. When I walk outside my mare whinnies to me .. It took awhile, but even with the doubts in-between those horses I drew over and over again all showed up!
Thank you so much for “The Secret” reminder I have much more creating to experience!!!!
