The Story Of Peachy.

Savannah, GAI am an animator and college animation professor. I am also an animal lover!
In 2018, my life was a bit of a struggle. I worked as an adjunct professor and as a freelance artist and could barely make ends meet. My relationships with family and friends weren’t going well. I had read The Secret and seen The Secret movie years before but decided to give the movie another look. Then I began to once again put the law of attraction into practice.
I had two adorable cats who brought me much joy, Zinnie, age sixteen, and Rocket, age two. They got along great and both of them were two-toned short haired “mutts” and rescue cats.
In the spring of 2019, Zinnie fell ill and it was discovered that she had an inoperable tumor and that I was going to have to put her down. Fortunately, my wonderful vet was right next door to my apartment building. That morning before the euthanasia appointment, Zinnie was sleeping in the other room, and Rocket was with me on the sofa.
To cheer myself up, I said to Rocket, “Let’s look at what kind of kitty we will get next,” thinking that it would be months down the line before I would feel like adopting another cat again.
Just to push the fantasy all the way, I went online and started looking up the most beautiful and sweet cat breeds I could imagine. Cats with blue eyes, an easy going personality, fluffy, and with lovely coloring. A lot of the photos that came up were of a breed called a “Ragdoll”. I said to Rocket doubtfully, “Wow, what if we could get a rescue Ragdoll!?” All of my adopted pets must be rescues.
Later in the morning, I took Zinnie to be put down. I usually took notice of whether the adoption cages in the vet’s lobby had any kitties, and that morning they did not; all the cages were empty.
The vet was wonderful and gave me time in the “going to sleep” room to cry as much as I needed to. They said I could stay in there as long as necessary and could leave when I was ready. My plan was to take Zinnie’s back home so that Rocket could see it, before bringing it back to be cremated.
I took my time and finally came out into the lobby with Zinnie in a carrier. There were no other people in the lobby but there was one new cat in the adoption cage. That was the first thing I saw at eye level, as soon as I came out. In the cage was a beautiful blue eyed Ragdoll cat! A one year old female, a perfect friend for my young male cat Rocket.
I could not believe it! I looked around and there were no other people in the room for me to say, “Oh my gosh, I just manifested a cat!” So, I looked up at the ceiling and said, “You have got to be kidding me!”
Finally, a vet tech came out and I said to her, “I love this cat…”. Holding back tears, I went out to my car and called another animal lover friend to check to be sure I was not just crazy with grief. My friend said, “You are crazy with grief, and you should adopt that cat.” This reminds me of the part in The Secret where one of the teachers says, “Yes there is a bill there in your mailbox so you won’t think you’re crazy.” Sometimes the law of attraction in action does blow our minds!
I took Zinnie’s body home so that Rocket could understand what had happened. He did. He crawled into the carrier and slept with her dead body for an hour. He had his version of a funeral for his friend. Later that day, I took the body back to the vet for cremation.
I visited the little Ragdoll kitty again, and put my hand in the cage and she put her paw on my arm. That was all I needed. I adopted her three days later and named her “Peachy”. I took her home and within a few hours, she and Rocket were playing together and grooming each other. They fell madly in love with each other. That was almost five years ago.
Since then, I have manifested so much in my life, including the perfect job with great pay in my dream town, my dream partner, and my dream home. Manifesting Peachy taught me that anything was possible.
