I am becoming more and more excited by “The Secret” and am really beginning to see it work in my life. The most recent example just happened this week.

For years it has been my husband’s dream for us to take a cruise, but we have never been able to afford it. Well, last year, I just happened to land a job with a major cruise company, and after working there for a year, employees get to request to go on any cruise, on concession. The company tells you when you start that you may not get the cruise you want and you often don’t find out that you are going until a few days before the cruise leaves because the company needs to see how full the ship will be before they can allow employees to go.

For several months now, everytime I am driving in the car, I have been visualizing that my husband and I are driving to the cruise terminal, all excited to go on our cruise and I have really gotten into what that feels like. About three weeks ago, I submitted the paperwork for the cruise my husband and I wanted to take, and continued my visualizing. This week, I got a call from my supervisor that my husband and I have been approved to take the cruise we wanted! The cruise is still over 2 months away, so I was really shocked, when I figured we wouldn’t hear anything until about a week before the cruise left. The funny thing is, there is a lady who started working at the company the same day I did, put in for her cruise 2 months before I put in for mine, and the cruise she wants to go on is 3 weeks earlier than mine, and she still hasn’t heard whether she gets to go or not. I’ll have to let her in on my “secret”. It was so exciting to get to tell my husband his dream vacation was now a reality.
