Co-incidence? I think not!!
Submitted by: Patricia S
CanadaI am married with three children and have three little grand-daughters. I was born and raised in South Africa, married to a Canadian and am now a Canadian citizen.
I viewed “The Secret” which was a phenomenal movie. It was thought provoking, encouraging and very interesting. The day after watching “The Secret” I was doing my laundry and had just taken the last load out of the dryer and placed the clothes into the basket for ironing when I noticed that there was something left in the dryer. On closer examination, I found that it was a little, smooth, grey stone about an inch long. I took it out of the dryer and stared at it in amazement for immediately my thoughts turned to “The Secret” and Teacher, Lee Brower who was relating his story about the “gratitude rock” to a man from South Africa. This little stone I found in my dryer looked exactly like the one he had. This freaked me out not only because we are all adults in our house and none of us would put stones into our clothing but also because of the fact that I was born and raised in South Africa. Where did this rock come from??? I can find no explanation what so ever. I initially put the stone next to my bed where I saw it every night and every morning but felt that I should keep it in my purse. Every time I open my purse, I see the stone and always remember to give thanks for all the blessings in my life. Was it a coincidence? I think not!
