This is my second manifestation story here, as I am getting better at receiving what I desire.

I have been working for a while and I put my academic career on hold. I come from a high achieving, academic family and education is very significant to us. Recently, I had been contemplating not continuing academics as I started believing I was not meant for it. This was coming from a negative place because my true desire was to achieve academic echelons. I let go of that belief and asked the Universe to show me the path.

Lo and behold, when I was not looking, one of my relatives started guiding me to this doctorate program and asked me to pursue it relentlessly. I knew I would not make it to get into the program because it was highly competitive and my relative just said to give it a shot. However, I knew that it required networking with professors. I have never done networking and did not intend to either. However, I applied and left it up to the lord to take me through the correct path. My interview was bad, so I immediately forgot about it without any hope. I shook it off and moved on with my life. But I remember being very calm and content before the interview and my mind kept singing, “Walk on water”.

A couple of months later, I got an official call and I was told that I had been offered a position! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

So all I can say is to decide what you desire, ask the Universe for it, and then let go of all logic and walk on water. It is bound to happen because forces much bigger and higher than our rational mind can fathom are at play.
